How Sage keeps your practice private
How your private assistant, booking page chat and phone receptionist stay separate.
Think of Sage as three separate staff members who all work from the same public appointment book, but have completely separate desks.
Your private assistant (inside the member area)
The helper you chat with privately by typing or tapping the microphone. She helps you manage your day, draft emails, block out time and review how the practice is going. Only signed-in members of your practice can talk to her, and each person's chats are their own.
Booking page chat
Greets visitors on your public booking page, answers simple questions and books people in. She only knows what is already public: your services, the prices you show, your locations, hours and genuinely free times.
Phone receptionist
Answers your Sage phone number when you're with a client or closed. She works from the same public details as the booking page chat.
What they share
- Your public appointment book: services, locations, hours and real openings.
- Messages: when a caller leaves a message or a website visitor asks for a call back, Sage passes it straight to your dashboard and Leads list so you can follow up.
What never leaves your member area
- Your private notes and client histories.
- Your private conversations with Sage.
- Your income and payment records.
Every practice starts fresh
Each new practice gets its own Sage that starts with no knowledge of any other practice. Nothing Sage sees in your account is used to train a model for anyone else.
FAQ
- Can a caller find out what I discussed with Sage?
- No. The phone receptionist and booking page chat never see your private chats, notes or client records.
- Can my front desk staff read my Sage chats?
- No. Each team member's chats with the private assistant are their own.
